4th Annual TransOhio Transgender & Ally Conference will be held on August 5-7, 2011 in Columbus, Ohio. This year’s conference will be hosted onsite at The Ohio State University’s Multicultural Center and Student Union.

Keynote Presenter: Ignacio Rivera
Ignacio Rivera
Ignacio Rivera aka Papí Coxxx is a gender queer Trans-Former born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Ignacio who prefers the gender-neutral pronoun “they”, is a performance artist, currently performing skits, spoken word, one-person shows and story-telling internationally. Ignacio is a lecturer, activist, new filmmaker and self-proclaimed sex educator.
Ignacio is the founder of Poly Patao Productions. P3 is dedicated to producing sex-positive workshops, performance pieces, films, play parties, panel discussions, social/political groups and educational opportunities that are specially geared toward queer women, transgender, multi-gender, gender-queer, gender non-conforming and gender variant people of color.
Ignacio is also one of the founding board member of Queers for Economic Justice, a progressive non-profit organization committed to promoting economic justice in a context of sexual and gender liberation.
The 4th Annual TransOhio Transgender & Ally Conference will be held in Columbus, Ohio the weekend of August 5-7, 2011 at The Ohio State University Multicultural Center at the Ohio Union.
Friday, August 5th: 2nd Annual Provider’s Day

The Ohio State University, College of Social Work is an approved provider of State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. This event has been pre-approved for 6 CPE’s (formally CEU’s)/clock hours for full participation to Social Workers, Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists attending this event. The college’s Provider Number: RCT111002. Certificates will be distributed at the conclusion of this event.
